Bonding is a term sometimes used to describe the technique of placing white fillings in front teeth. These can be used to disguise small or medium sized imperfections such as chipped teeth or gaps between teeth.
The treatment involves using a tooth coloured resin to mask any defects, or build up any gaps in the teeth. With the advent of modern composite materials, we can achieve fantastic results by matching the resin to the colour of the tooth. It is worth noting however, that this treatment may not be suitable for more extensive restorations.
